Drop-in Hours can be used for the following:

  • Non-curriculum related questions or concerns
  • Questions about  academic policies
  • Assistance accessing campus resources
  • Course/term withdrawal
  • Peer Tutoring information
  • Issues with course registration
  • Other general questions

Orfalea’s Peer Advising

Orfalea utilizes a peer advising model to accommodate the increasing demand for advising appointments. Peer Advisors have received extensive training to be able to answer your questions, provide you with expertise curriculum advising, and direct you to the appropriate resources and services.

Orfalea’s Professional Advising Staff

Professional Advisors are highly trained staff that are available to help you with more in-depth or sensitive questions and concerns that come up throughout the quarter. They can also help with coaching to help you with academic and career-related goal setting.

Professional Academic Advisors can assist with the following:

  • Academic Probation and Disqualification
  • General academic or personal counseling
  • Support services and resources
  • Career and Internship Support
