Three Cal Poly alumni from the Orfalea College of Business were honored on the San Luis Obispo Tribune’s 20 Under 40 list.
Ryan Amborn, who earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology in 2002 and master’s degree in industrial and technical studies in 2003, now serves as president of West Coast Auto and Towing.
Sarah Ketchum, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing in 2005, now works as a financial adviser and limited partner at Edward Jones in San Luis Obispo.
Eric Linkugel, who earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology in 2001 and master’s degree in industrial and technical studies in 2002, is now the manager of business customer success at PG&E.
Overall, Cal Poly alumni make up more than half of the Tribune’s honorees. Short biographies of each winner will be published in The Tribune in early February, and an awards luncheon will be held in their honor Feb. 3 at the Madonna Inn with keynote speaker and Cal Poly alumnus Bill Swanson of Raytheon.
