Cal Poly will welcome speaker, award-winning journalist and leadership expert Antonio Neves to campus for a series of free lectures on Thursday, Sept. 29. Students, faculty and staff from across campus are invited to attend.
Neves will give two presentations at Cal Poly. The first, titled “The New Resume: How Students Can Build a Strong Personal Brand to Get Hired” will be held from 11:10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Business Silo (03-213).
The second presentation, titled “How to Create Your Own Luck: Excelling on Campus Before You Have Experience & Connections” will be held from 2:10 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Advanced Technologies Laboratory (07-002). Refreshments will be served.
Neves is known for using the art of storytelling and humor to inspire students to become standout leaders on campus. During his high-profile career as a television correspondent and host, Antonio interviewed and learned from top CEOs, Heads of State and Grammy and Oscar Award winners. In his dynamic talks, Neves shares the steps that students can take to create their own luck and become better communicators.
