Lisa Sperow, J.D., Executive Director
Lisa is the Executive Director of the Cal Poly Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. She has been teaching at Cal Poly since 2001 and became the Director of the LITC in 2012. Prior to Cal Poly, Lisa served as a trial attorney for the United States Department of Justice. She has been practicing law for almost 20 years and is a Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of California in San Luis Obispo. Lisa also holds leadership positions in various professional organizations, including Scholarship Chair of the Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo County and is a Legal Consultant to the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo.
Eddy Quijano, J.D., Founder, Pro bono Consultant
Eddy founded the Cal Poly Low Income Taxpayer Clinic in 2010 and now serves as the LITC Pro bono attorney. He has been lecturing at Cal Poly since 2003 and has served in various functions, including Chair of the Accounting and Law Area as well as Director of the Masters in Accounting Taxation Program. Prior to Cal Poly, Eddy served as a senior trial attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service, in Los Angeles (1971-1975) and New Orleans (1975-1979). He also maintained a federal & state tax practice and business & corporate law practice (1979-2003) with Adams and Reese LLP.
