Minor Description
This interdisciplinary minor program of study is coordinated by the Industrial Technology and Packaging Area in the Orfalea College of Business. Each student will complete the curriculum in cooperation with the minor program advisor. The packaging minor is open to all Cal Poly students.

How do students apply or declare the minor?
Download the minor form here as a reference. Then, schedule an appointment with Packaging Minor Advisor Professor Koushik Saha via email at ksaha@calpoly.edu. During the appointment an adobe sign form will be sent to you to complete the minor declaration procedure.

Who should take this minor?
The program is open to students of all disciplines at Cal Poly. A variety of students would benefit from packaging curriculum, including business majors with marketing concentration. Students studying food science, ag business, and graphic communication with concentration graphics for packaging often pursue the minor.
