New Faculty Orientation & Luncheon For Tenure Track & Lecturers – September 11th
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Library, Julian’s Cafe Lounge (2nd floor), hosted by the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology (CTLT)
This event is designed to provide essential information and foster social connections for all new Cal Poly faculty. Participants will meet campus colleagues and fellow new faculty members, learn about campus resources and requirements, gain insight from recently new faculty, and have opportunities to get support for teaching and research as well as for using PolyLearn for instruction. Continental breakfast and lunch provided.

- Keynote remarks by President Jeffrey D. Armstrong
Orfalea College of Business Fall Conference – September 15th
We are looking forward to the fall conference on September 15th at Edna Valley Winery. All faculty and staff are invited for the entire day, but staff who are not interested in the primary topic for the afternoon (the agenda follows) are welcome to come for lunch and then depart. WOW Academic Day – September 16th
Join WOW Academic Day on Wednesday, September 16th to welcome new students to the Orfalea College of Business. The day begins with an address from college leadership in the Rec Center’s Mutli-Activity Center at 9:30 a.m. At 11:00 a.m., students will journey to O’Neill Green for a College Connection Fair. This is one of the first opportunities students will have to explore concentrations, get to know business clubs, and make meaningful connections with faculty. We invite you to represent your discipline as you answer questions and enjoy a BBQ with your fellow faculty and staff.
