Monika Palma

In 2017, Monika moved to the central coast from the central valley, where she completed her education and gained business experience. Currently, she holds an Accounts Receivable Manger position at Apio, Inc., a subsidiary of Landec Corporation, which ranks as the largest shipper of packaged fresh vegetables in the U.S. and Canada. Her extensive business and management experience covers several industries and includes a broad range of positions. These positions include Operations Manager in a finance/customer service industry, and several accounting roles in the manufacturing setting of the poultry industry, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting, General Leger and Financial Reporting.

Monika earned an MBA degree in 2009 and has taught International Business classes at California State University, Stanislaus for five years. She also teaches full-day seminars for private organizations on Theories of Efficiency and Financial Aspects of Agriculture covering accounting practices, financial ratios and financial statements. In 2018, she joined Cal Poly as a part time lecturer, where she teaches BUS 433, International Finance.
