Anthony Randazzo, Jr. returns to the Industrial and Packaging Area after a ten-year leave. Having owned a number of local retail and manufacturing businesses, Randazzo offers students with a unique perspective. He understands the importance of exceeding the needs of companies and customers, prioritization and follow-through. Not only is he passionate about business and new product development, he includes ethics, excitement, and passion to his teaching and every day life.

As a result of a minor in packaging at Cal Poly, Randazzo started his own line of surf and snowboard protection. This company, Perfect Conditions, expanded into other areas including a clothing line. After teaming up with another Cal Poly graduate, Nathan Ditmore, the duo also started their own screen printing and graphics business, Synergy. The natural progression was for the team to vertically integrate, and start a line of retail stores including Morro Bay Surf Company, Los Osos Boardshop, and San Luis Surf Company. The stores featured surf camps where they put over 1700 students through their programs. One of the highlights, however, was co-founding a surf program for special needs students. This program evolved into Project Surf Camp, which received national attention on the Today Show. America voted for the program and was awarded a $50,000 grant from Pepsi.

Previously, Anthony Randazzo has also taught courses a wide range of courses at Cal Poly. These include the following: Industrial Planning, Value Engineering, Industrial Management Presentations, Senior Projects, and Occupational and Health Safety. His courses bring real-world experience into the classroom.

Recently, Randazzo has added real estate and e-commerce to his list of interests.
