Apply for the BUS 270 Leadership Summit!

The 2012 Leadership Summit will be a different experience from any other class students will take at the Orfalea College of Business or Cal Poly.

Lead instructor is Dr. Ronda Beaman, the President’s Teaching Scholar award winner, first national recipient of the Art of Teaching award, Cal Poly Woman of the year, and Chief Creative Officer of PEAK, Learning, Inc.

Beaman says, “I love what I do and like to think it shows! I never lecture, we share the learning by means of interactive challenges, field trips, guest speakers (including our first speaker Mark Shulman, the drummer for PINK, Cher, Foreigner, Journey— to name a few—who leads executive leadership training seminars through out the world), team competitions, and shared committee contributions. There is energy, enthusiasm and power that can come from a large group dedicated to a higher purpose.. like finding the leader within!”
