Computer Lab Rules

NO food, drink, tobacco, smoking, bicycles or skateboards are permitted in the Lab at any time.

Unauthorized Use of the Computers, Software, etc.

Installation of custom software, alteration of system files, software theft, game playing, physical abuse of the machines and like behavior will result in revocation of Lab privileges. NO exceptions will be made to this policy at any time. Certain class software may be copied.

Hardware Support

If you have problems with your computer (inside the Business building), ask for assistance from a Lab Consultant or one of the Managers. The Lab Consultant and Managers are familiar with much of the Orfalea College of Business-owned software and can provide valuable advice and assistance in using these programs. Please do not attempt to fix it yourself.

Opening and Closing Policies

Please prepare to leave closing time, as you will be asked to vacate the Computer Lab. No exceptions are permitted.

Bulletin Boards, Doors and Walls and More

Bulletin boards in the Computer Lab are for official postings only! No exceptions will be made.

In addition, we request that you assist us in maintaining the professional appearance of the building. Please be mindful of placing shoes on the tables and walls.

Viruses & Passwords

The Windows machines in the Lab are using the most current version of Network Associates Virus Protection.
