Kathryn Marshall
I received my PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990. Since then I have had the good fortune to teach economics in many places, including Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and as a visitor at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna Italy and the University of California in Santa Barbara.
I am looking forward to teaching here at Cal Poly and renewing my research on Asian developing economies. I could not ask for a more beautiful environment and more enthusiastic students and I look forward to many rewarding years here as a teacher and scholar.
Professor Marshall will be teaching Intermediate Macroeconomics and Economic Development and Growth at Cal Poly.
