Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson became the Dean of the Orfalea College of Business on August 1, 2014. Previously, he led Portland State University’s School of Business Administration as dean for more than a decade. There, he was instrumental in establishing international learning opportunities, graduate programs and industry partnerships that bolstered student success. Now Dawson is focused squarely on the Orfalea College of Business’ vision: to be the undisputed leader in experiential business education, which supports Cal Poly’s Learn by Doing mantra.
