Leadership Workshop
APPLY NOW FOR FALL QUARTER!
Are you are LEADER? Or, are you interested in gaining LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE?
The Orfalea College of Business Leadership Workshop is a hands-on workshop that will develop your interpersonal leadership skills through experiential activities both inside and outside the classroom.
The goal of this workshop is to build a learning community where students can actively learn, practice, develop, expand and improve their leadership skills and competencies.
Participants will enroll in the workshop for three consecutive quarters and will earn a total of 4 units in BUS 270. During the first quarter, students will conduct an extensive self-evaluation of their interpersonal skills and develop a plan for growth and development. During the second quarter, students will engage in one of a variety of hands-on projects that will directly test and challenge their interpersonal leadership skills. During the final quarter, students will step into the role of mentors and coaches of their peers who are just beginning the workshop, further developing their leadership capabilities. The workshop culminates with a second self-assessment that will set the stage for future leadership and developmental opportunities.
Enrolling in the workshop offers many BENEFITS:
- Networking opportunities on campus and in the community.
- Recognition as a leader in the College.
