Alpha Kappa Psi - Darlene Robetcky, President Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. American Marketing Association - Emily Burns, President If you are looking into a marketing concentration, I highly recommend this organization. We are the perfect combination of professionalism, social activities and philanthropy. Each week we have speakers from all different areas of marketing who prove to be valuable resources. I have been an active member since my freshman year and I am so glad I joined when I did. Over the years, AMA has allowed me to network amongst other marketing students, establish valuable connections with industry professionals and get internship/job offers. |

Business Council - Cameron Pangrle, President Business Council serves as an advisory body working to promote unity and collaboration within the College of Business (COB). It works to foster communication between COB clubs and departments, and ASI representatives by providing an environment that is conducive to constructive feedback. The council also coordinates college-wide professional and social events and activities, including the COB Annual Awards Banquet. |

Cal Poly Accounting Club (CPAC) - Lyndsey Flanders, President The Cal Poly Accounting Club (CPAC) is a fast growing organization that offers many benefits to Business-Accounting students. Delta Sigma Pi - Greg Wood, President In Delta Sigma Pi, we focus on creating well-rounded young professionals with experience in the corporate world! How is that done? Graduate Students in Business Association (GSBA) - Nicholas Miura, President The GSB Association is a club organized and run by OCOB graduate students. It provides an opportunity for emerging business leaders to interact with each other outside the classroom in a more relaxed environment. The club organizes social events for continuing students, faculty, and alumni and hosts a variety of fundraising and professional events throughout the school year. Human Resource Management Association - Daniel Schwartz, President - The Human Resources Management Association (HRMA) provides students with the knowledge needed for entry and advanced level positions in Human Resources Management. HRMA offers many networking opportunities with professionals from the community, industry and alumni. Every February, HRMA competes in the HR Games in a "Jeopardy" style format to stage an academic competition with teams from schools throughout the nation, answering questions based on the HR Body of Knowledge. Information Systems Association (ISA) - Ronald Wong, President The Information Systems Association (ISA) provides students with excellent networking opportunities with not only top-notch industry recruiters, but also alumni as well. Every Thursday ISA hosts recruiters from companies who come to speak about their respective companies as well as the job opportunities for interns and full-time employees. Aside from helping members excel in their profession development, ISA also provides a social network for members to get to know one another. They meet from 11AM-12PM every Thursday in room 3-113. Industrial Technology Society (ITS) -Scott Fleming, President Industrial Technology is a combination of business and engineering, so we try to incorporate aspects of both worlds. Currently we do tours of local companies and have guest speakers at most meetings. We participate in open house, and hold a couple of fundraisers a year. For the future we would like to attend the National NAIT Conference, and hold an annual alumni reunion and end of the year scholarship banquet. We will also be working on setting up annual fundraisers and social events for ITS members. ITS has also been working with the Formula Car and Baja team to promote interdisciplinary projects. Poly Pack - Mike Brown, President Poly Pack is open to all majors and serves as a great opportunity to open doors to students interested in the packaging industry. Poly Pack strives to "integrate industry with education" by attending trade shows, hosting guest speakers and putting on an annual symposium. Poly Pack itself, our annual symposium, is put on for the benefit of students, faculty and industry professionals alike. The event is designed to promote Cal Poly's packaging program, and learning from one another about existing and upcoming technologies, industry trends and problems facing the industry. The event doubles as a recruitment opportunity for both internships and full time positions in packaging and related fields. We also offer a social outlet for packaging students, and plan to further collaborate with the Industrial Technology Society. Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) - Josh Pile, President Active on more than 1,200 college and university campuses in over 40 countries, SIFE teams are creating economic opportunity for millions of people around the world. The concept is simple working as teams, SIFE students design educational outreach project that help individuals in their communities develop a better understanding of the principles of free enterprise. Cal Poly Wheelchair Foundation, Gift of Mobility Benefit - Helya Naghibi, Project Manager Founded in 2001, as the first collegiate chapter of the Wheelchair Foundation, students in the club have raised over ¼ million dollars to send 3,333 wheelchairs to disabled people in Peru, Ethiopia, Thailand, Guatemala, Belize, and Argentina. The Wheelchair Foundation’s mission is to deliver a wheelchair to every man, woman and child who needs one, but cannot afford one—bringing new independence to those deprived of mobility by war, disease, accident, natural disaster or old age. It is estimated that at least 100 million children, teens and adults worldwide need a wheelchair but cannot afford one.
