May 18, 2009 Special Update:
In addition to the current fees noted on the Orfalea College graduate programs web site for the state supported MBA and state supported MS in Business and Technology Program (Applied Research and Development Track), on May 13, 2009 the California State University Board of Trustees adopted a mandatory 10 percent general fee increase for CSU students and programs for all students at the various 23 CSU campuses across the state. Further, it also adopted a mandatory CSU system wide professional graduate fee for state-supported MBA programs and similar business graduate degrees such as our state supported MS in Business and Technology (Applied Research and Development Track). Both fees are effective for the above noted Cal Poly programs (only), Fall 2009. The professional graduate fee adds $140 per quarter unit to the state fees noted on our web site. Both new and continuing students in these listed programs (including the MBA side of the EMP program or any other dual degree program) are subject to these new fees. Various types of need based financial aid may be available for eligible students who apply. Once the Orfalea College learns more details about these two new fees and their roll out and develops a process for applying for said financial aid, we will post said details on our web site and advise returning and incoming students by email. Please check back.
More information on this 10% general fee increase and the professional graduate fee is available on the California State University system web site at:
