Students will spend two weekends on campus each quarter for a total of six quarters, with the balance of instructional activities being offered online. This hybrid approach will give students the opportunity to benefit from the Cal Poly name and brand, our extensive laboratory facilities, develop working relationships with our faculty, but not be away from work or home for extensive periods of time.
We see our graduates advancing within an organization to positions that demand technical competencies as well as business principles and leadership.
Our degree program is historically grounded in our Industrial Technology program, which has had a 50-year history within Cal Poly; we have offered masters degrees since the 1970s. Hundreds of our undergraduate and masters alumni are leaders in technology-based industry throughout California and the world.
