Publications
Dr. Savage has been the recipient of five best conference paper awards since 1999. Some of her publications appear in the Journal of Information Systems, Accounting and the Public Interest, Advances in Environmental Accounting and Management, Advances in Accounting Education, and The CPA Journal. She also co-authored a textbook, Advanced Financial Accounting, and two research monographs in the Elsevier Science series Studies in Managerial and Financial Accounting.
Activities
Completed a term of office as President of the national Accounting Information Systems (AIS) Educator Association, which provides hands-on computer training and research mentorship for AIS faculty across the U.S. She remains on the Board of Directors as an emeritus board member. She is currently the founding editor of this association’s new academic journal. Dr. Savage is also on the editorial board of the International Journal of Business Information Systems. She also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the American Accounting Association’s Information Systems Section
