Annette Rietkerk, Accounting, of Upland was honored at the Orfalea College of Business’ Annual Awards Banquet for academic excellence. Annette is graduating with the highest GPA in the graduating class of seniors from the Orfalea College of Business. Congratulations Annette!
Accounting Professor Lee Burgunder received the Faculty Emeritus Award at the Annual Awards Banquet. Burgunder received a plaque and monetary award and noted that the award was especially meaningful for him this year. Congratulations Lee!
Larry Gorman, Finance Professor, was voted Distinguished Teacher of the Year, in an online vote by students of the Orfalea College of Business. Gorman was first hired for fall 1997 and has been received many teaching awards during his tenure at the college. Congratulations Larry!
Honored at the Annual Awards Banquet as outstanding faculty in the Orfalea College of Business in their respective areas as voted by the students for 2007-08 were (left to right): Dan Villegas, Economics; Sanjiv Jaggia, Finance; Tad Miller, Accounting, and Norm Borin, Marketing. Not available for the picture were Cliff Barber, Industrial Technology, and Barry Floyd, Management.
