Paul Orfalea visited the college in January and was a guest lecturer for two classes. He also had an opportunity to meet with students and community members, including student ambassadors Sarah Riviere (Marketing), left, and Allison Lowen (Accounting/Finance).
Tim Banducci (Information Systems ’75), center, was a guest speaker for the Future of Real Estate Club in the Orfalea College of Business. Tim is president of California West and a member of the Executive Partners Program for the college. Information Systems alumni Sara Asalone (’04), Scott Allan (’03), and Kathryn Songco (’01) were on campus in January to recruit for Ernst & Young (EY). Sara is now working out of the Irvine Office for EY, while Scott and Kathryn are both in the San Francisco. Scott and Kathryn were also Student Ambassadors for the college.
Chuck Liddell (Accounting ’95), the face of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the leader in mixed martial arts fighting, will sign his new autobiography, Iceman: My Fighting Life at Borders in San Luis Obispo, on Tuesday, February 12th at 7:00 PM.
