 The
Dean’s Open Forum for winter ’07 attracted over 50
students who wanted to meet with Dean Christy to
hear what is happening in the College and share their concerns
with him. The dean addressed issues of faculty hiring, enrollment
growth, graduation requirements, and fee increases with the students. Dean
Christy meets in a town hall setting once each quarter to allow
students to openly discuss College issues and innovative solutions.

 Lance
Brandenberg (Marketing ’06) is a recent grad, yet
he has been a successful businessman in San Luis Obispo for almost
two years. Lance shared the story of his business, Mediums,
with the Orfalea College of Business Student Ambassadors and reflected
on what it was like to be a student and run a business, the value
of his education, his hard knocks, and Top Ramen! |
