Tornatzky McRobbie Smitty
Lou Tornatzky (far right), new IT area chair, recently enjoyed an afternoon learning about the creation and evolution of the program from two who can really tell the story – Mac McRobbie (left), original IT area chair from 1962 to 1979, and Nelson ‘Smitty’ Smith, one of the original IT faculty, from 1962 to 1994.

Walter Duflock Congratulations to Walter Duflock (Accounting ’89) on his new venture.  After 8 successful years with eBay, Walt is now Director of Marketing for Merchant Circle in Los Altos, an 8-person startup focused on finding clients for local merchants.  Walter is one of the newest members of the Dean’s Advisory Council so we still know where to find him!  Good luck to you and your new partners, Walter.
Lynn Metcalf Lynn Metcalf, Marketing, was selected to receive the Richard and Julie Hood Endowed Professorship in Marketing for 2006-07.  Through this endowment, the Hood family has created a legacy of faculty professional development that is vital to the ability of the college to attract and retain excellent faculty.
