“The Brightest Minds Make the Best Company.” The new banners hanging around the Orfalea College of Business remind our incoming students that they are the best and the brightest! The college has a new look for fall, you’ll see more of it in the Annual Report you’ll be receiving in the mail in October.
Peter Brown (Industrial Technology ’91), vice president of Lansmont Corporation in Monterey, hosted an educational field trip in September for students enrolled in Dr. Eric Olsen’s (Industrial Technology), Technology Commercialization special summer session MBA course. The students visited Lansmont in Monterey and HSBC in Salinas. These direct learning experiences provide both an inside view of these diverse organizations as well as excellent opportunities for networking with company executives.
