Accounting
seniors are in full swing with their VITA (Volunteer
Income Tax Assistance) program now through March
11. Mike Roxborough and Kathleen
O’Connor (Accounting ’83), CPAs
and partners in Roy and O’Connor Accountants,
Inc. of Paso Robles, are two of the local CPAs who
volunteer their time to work with our students to
review their work. Working with Roxborough and O’Connor
are students Pam Taylor and Erika
Wolf. 
Joe
Kane (MBA ’73), Associate Dean
of the University of Toyota, Toyota Motor Sales,
USA, Inc., assists students in the third round
simulation in the IT 303 Industrial Quality Assurance
class. Kane has been working with IT
professor Eric Olsen to bring
Toyota’s lean thinking processes into the
classroom. 
The
11 th Annual International Career Conference held
in February was deemed a success by the 2006 team.
Approximately 400 students attended the event and
37 companies were represented. 
Dean

Administration ’69) for hosting the Fresno
