It had to happen – when the IRS came to work with accounting students, Tad Miller couldn’t hide any longer! Actually, IRS agents held a fraud conference at Cal Poly on March 3rd, intended to raise awareness of tax crimes and to offer students a possible career path that they may not have otherwise considered. |

Industrial Technology Students Utilize Biodegradable Packaging - Through a generous donation of equipment and film from Primary Packaging in Visalia, students in Industrial Technology are the first to provide individually packaged produce using EarthFirst™ cornstarch-based biodegradable packaging. This is the first of many projects involving packaging applications for non-petroleum based renewable biodegradable packaging. Students in IT409, Packaging Machinery, are shown using the new biodegradable film to package apples with the Flow-pack overwrap machine. |
