Dr. Eriksson is an applied micro-economist with interests in economic history, labor economics, and development economics. Her current work explores immigration to the US in the early 20th century, as well as education and criminal behavior in the US South in the same time period. She has research published in the American Economic Review and Journal of Development Economics.
At Cal Poly, Dr. Eriksson teaches Econometrics and Poverty, Discrimination, and Immigration.
Dr. Eriksson joined the Cal Poly Economics faculty in 2013. She received her Bachelors in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, and PhD in Economics from UCLA in 2013.
