The Economics degree program prepares students for employment in the private and and public sectors of both the domestic and international levels as economists, analysts, and general managers. The teaching of Economics in high school is another occupational field for the economist. The program prepares students to undertake graduate study in economics, law, business administration and related fields in the social sciences. The Economics Area supports the concept of international education and encourages its students to investigate opportunities for overseas study.
