Trisha Daughtrey graduated from Cal Poly in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting. In 2004, she started as a financial analyst for Moonstone Hotel Properties before moving into the position of director of human resources, where she played a lead role in recreating a companywide handbook along with managing workers compensation claims, payroll, health benefits and administering the 401k plan. In 2005, she joined the REC Solar Inc. team as the accounting manager and assisted in generating and overseeing revenues of $46M in a fast-paced, high-growth solar installation market. She has extensive experience in job costing reporting and analysis, along with the implementation of Everest, an ERP system.

Daughtrey left REC in 2007 to pursue her CPA license. In 2008, she started working with Radakovich, Shaw & Blythe, LLP as a CPA preparing and reviewing tax returns and tax planning for various clients. As a tax preparer and consultant, she has over six years of experience in preparing and assisting simple to complex tax returns for individuals and small businesses. She also assists clients in the creation and setup of accounting software.

Daughtrey started teaching at Cal Poly in the spring quarter of 2014 and currently teaches Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Federal Taxation for Individuals.

She is a mother to boy/girl twins, loves the outdoors and cooking.
