Dr. Anderson joined the Orfalea College of Business in the summer of 2021 after completing her PhD in Accounting at the University of Arkansas. Professor Anderson’s research broadly considers the interaction between accounting information and capital markets, focusing on the information processing costs associated with financial disclosure.

Professor Anderson started her career as an auditor with Deloitte, but spent the majority of her pre-academic time in the transaction services and accounting based valuation space. Professor Anderson holds an MS in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Economics from Clemson University.
